I see that another a-hole has published a negative book about our President, as posted this morning on Alan Colmes’ Liberland.
Gangster Government:
Barack Obama and the New Washington Thugocracy
The gangster government meme (should be gangsta for authenticity) has been around for a while, so it’s not something that I haven’t heard, but that doesn’t make it any less racist.  And if we are going to apply labels, what group in recent history has displayed more “thuggish” behavior than the George Bush Administration?
President Obama is not a gangster
President Obama is a U.S. citizen
President Obama is not a socialist
If we have to begin our conversation by stating the obvious we have nothing more to talk about.

Expect Little; Receive Less

I like to read comments on blogs.  Once I skip passed all of the unimaginative “Nice job!” and “Agreed” comments, I sometimes find writing that is more interesting and insightful than what I found in the post.

But not always…

Today, I came across this exchange within a string of irrational comments on a political blog:

Comment: “Look my grand parents were Ukrainian Jews they were MURDERD by nazis.”

Reply: “If your grandparents were murdered by Nazis, how did you get born?”

Sometimes low expectations just can’t be low enough.

Who Started The Fire?

I read a tumblr post by nappydiatribe (@HumanityCritic on Twitter) and I was moved to post a comment, but I didn’t have an account, so I signed up with tumblr.  I returned to his post but I still couldn’t leave a comment.  Uhg!

I clearly do not know what I am doing.

I was sorry to read about the fire, but I’m glad that you got out safely. I know that everyone says that possessions can be replaced after an event like this, but it still must irk you whenever you reach for something that is no longer there.  Hang in there brother, and I hope that your insurance company attends to your claim in a speedy and hassle free manner.  Ray
